East’s Jiudun Tan 200MW/800MWh Independent Storage Project Accelerates
July 15, 2026

On the vast Gobi at the northern edge of the Hexi Corridor, an 800MWh independent storage station – capable of storing 800,000 kWh of green electricity – is taking shape. All equipment has now been delivered and installed, with site construction proceeding at full pace despite heat and sandstorms.

Technology Highlights

  • Self‑developed 6.7MW/26.8MWh liquid‑cooled systems, keeping cell温差 ≤3°C and extending cycle life to 8,000+ cycles.

  • High‑efficiency PCS achieving 99% conversion efficiency, with full 4S integration (PCS, BMS, EMS, PMS) for optimal system performance.

  • Intelligent manufacturing base using AGV logistics for rapid, quality‑assured delivery.

Impact
Upon completion, the project will operate in synergy with nearby PV stations, easing grid peak‑shaving pressure in the Hexi region and enhancing grid flexibility. It also supports the “PV + desert control” demonstration model, delivering both ecological and economic benefits.

East remains committed to advancing this and future projects, driving the low‑carbon energy transition with reliable, high‑quality storage solutions.
