PV, storage, and charging are expanding into factories, parks, and commercial sites—but poor configuration often leads to oversized investment and weak returns. The key is not whether to build, but how to allocate capacity cost-effectively.

1. Bigger storage does not always mean better returns
Storage value depends on matching capacity to actual demand. Too small limits peak shaving; too large lowers utilization and raises capex. Sizing should consider load profiles, TOU tariffs, PV output, charging demand, and grid capacity.
EAST solution: EAST-Meta 3.0 C&I storage (135kW/261kWh) with EMS coordination across load, PV, storage, and charging—accurately sized and fully utilized.
2. Equipment stacking is not true integration
Real integration requires coordinated dispatch: aligning PV with charging demand, deciding when storage charges or discharges, and reducing grid impact at peak charging.
EAST solution: Self-developed storage, PV inverters, chargers, and EMS. PV supplies loads and charging first; surplus green power charges storage; storage discharges at high demand.
3. Equipment price is not lifecycle cost
Returns depend on efficiency, thermal control, safety, degradation, and O&M—not just capex. Temperature consistency directly affects cell performance and stability.
EAST solution: Liquid-cooled C&I storage; EAST-Meta 3.0 keeps cell temperature difference ≤2.5°C. High integration and full-front maintenance improve space and O&M efficiency.
Two projects
Guangzhou Zero-Carbon Park: 250kW/522kWh liquid-cooled storage + PV carports + chargers, EMS-dispatched for PV self-consumption, storage arbitrage, and charging revenue.
Dongguan Songshan Lake Industrial Park: 3.5MW PV + 10MWh storage + charging. Daily PV output >10,000kWh; daily revenue >RMB 8,000; annual revenue ~RMB 3 million.
Takeaway: Optimal configuration is not more equipment—it is the right role for each. With storage as the core and coordinated PV, charging, and energy management, EAST delivers integrated generation–storage–charging–consumption–management solutions.
